The Founders of ITP International
George Leonard, a pioneer in the field of human potentialities, authored twelve books, including The Transformation, Education and Ecstasy, The Silent Pulse, The Ultimate Athlete and Mastery. Read more.

ITP International Management Team
Pamela Kramer is President of ITP International, a non profit organization that stewards ITP and the work of its founders, George Leonard and Michael Murphy. Pam is on the faculty of Esalen Institute and presents workshops at venues in the US and abroad. She is engaged in training ITP teachers, helping to form ITP groups and bring integral principles and practices to the workplace. Pam is a performance consultant and executive coach with 30 years' consulting experience for organizations and entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Barry Robbins is Vice President of ITP International. He co-founded Community ITP in Mill Valley, CA, and is co-leader of ITP San Francisco. Barry is an ITP Mastery teacher and leads workshops at Esalen Institute and other venues in the US. He is a formerly nationally ranked athlete and heads up the ITPI initiative in the field of sports.
Robert Stewart is Operations and Programs Director for ITPI. Robert and his wife Eva-Lena also own Artseed, offering small businesses creative solutions in the areas of design and branding, illustration and photography. Artseed has been working with ITPI since 2006 and is responsible for creating and branding much of the current website, programs and fundraisers, as well as photographing events. Robert attended California College of the Arts and completed undergratuate studies at Brooks Institute in 1995. Robert has attended some of Pamela Kramer's private workshops and continues to be a student of ITP.
ITP Mastery Teachers
Roger Marsh has been practicing ITP since 2004 when he helped establish and lead ITP Walnut Creek in Northern California. Roger has continued to develop his leadership through all ITP Mastery Programs since 2008. He was a primary author on the ITPI Group Leader Guide and has been co-leading and convening ITP Group Leader gatherings since 2012. Roger holds a B.S. in Engineering, a Masters in Business and is a Certified Life Coach. Working with both individuals and organizations, Roger's passion is to facilitate the divine wisdom in all people for action in the world.
Bob Doenges is an ITP Mastery teacher and sits on the board of ITPI. He has been practicing ITP for 15 years and experiences a new fullness and purpose to his life because of ITP. Bob has founded two ITP groups in Tulsa, OK, mentors ITP group leaders and is actively engaged in forming more groups around the country. He has a passionate belief in the power of practice and one's ability to awaken to and keep playing the edge of one's potential through ITP.
Tim Cleary is an ITP Mastery teacher and co-leader of ITP groups in San Rafael and San Francisco. A jazz guitarist and music teacher, he has been involved in mind-body practices since 1974. He was drawn to ITP because of its emphasis on developing the whole being–body, mind, heart and soul. Tim joined CITP in 2005 and the ITP Mastery training program in 2010. Experiencing the power of practice in his own life and sharing it with others, Tim is devoted to the growth and expansion of ITP through teaching workshops and leading groups.
Max Gaenslen joined the ITPI Management Team in 2006 and has been involved in the design and implementation of the Mastery program since its inception. In addition to being a Mastery teacher, Max presents at ITP and LET workshops, conferences and at Esalen Institute. Max shares his passion for growth and transformation as a business consultant as well as in his current role as a teacher for at-risk youth. Max has been practicing ITP since 2004 and is co-leader of ITP San Francisco.
A dedicated practitioner of ITP, Charlotte Hatch has been practicing ITP since its inception in 1991 when she was a member of George and Michael’s “experimental group.” She has been a Mastery teacher for 5 years and co-founded ITP San Francisco in 2006. Charlotte is a 4th degree black belt in Aikido and studies and instructs at City Aikido in San Francisco under Robert Nadeau, Shihan. Charlotte has been instrumental in the design and implementation of the Mastery program and leads workshops in LET and ITP.
Donita Decker has been an ITP practitioner for over 12 years. As well as being a Mastery teacher, Donita assists with ITP and LET workshops in the Bay Area, and at Esalen and Asilomar. Donita is co-leader of the ITPI Group Leader Elevation and Evolution Team (GLEE) that brings together the ITP Group Leaders from around globe to share continuing education and growth in their leadership experiences. Donita founded and is co-leader of the ITP group in San Rafael, CA. She is a Blue Belt in Nia and has an MBA in Healthcare Administration. She consults with medical practices and envisions bringing ITP into healthcare settings.
Lucy Piper has practiced ITP since 2008 and has led one of the two groups in Tulsa since 2013. She developed her leadership skills by attending two cycles of Mastery in the Bay Area. Her appreciation of the depth in that program led her to be instrumental in bringing Mastery to the Heartland. Lucy is a life-long learner and is passionate about facilitating learning for herself and others. She has a BA in Philosophy and a MS in Curriculum and Instruction. Before retiring in 2013, she taught for thirty years, mostly in the elementary grades.
